Hey, I am planning on getting a mtech bumper for the rear of my E92, I want to do a quad setup, I already have a diffuser. Do I just need to buy the mtech bumper cover for the conversion? or do I need to get a different bar for the inside of the bumper? is it just a straight bumper cover swap?

Just buy the bumper its a straight swap no extra things required.

Thanks man, only reason I'm asking is because I called a local vendor and they said I had to buy a different impact bar or something. I'll call again and ask.

No, I did the same conversion on mine, I got my bumper from Mod Bargains. You can use what ever diffuser you want. Their is a strip that goes on top of the diffuser that you will need. The diffuser is a two piece part.

the cover strip is the piece you are referring too, they are one in the same

I have a carbon quad diffuser, is the cover strip separate from the bumper? Will I be fine just buying the bumper, because my diffuser doesn't have a top piece.

Oh okay, so I do need a strip then, because I have a carbon quad diffuser, don't think it has two pieces.

You are correct it's part of the diffuser but sold separately. Why??? I have no idea
