I need to remove the BMW Assist (SOS error), I installed an aftermarket radio (Piooner) and now I have this problem. SOS still works because my brother pressed the button and a girl toke my call. Is there any way to keep the sos function and delete the error?
I'm noob about coding bmw... actually I don't know what I need... programs. cables... sorry for my bad english BTW. I found this thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=805677 and I think it could help me but I don't understand because I have never did anything about coding... thanks for help |

I was just trying to code it out tonight and wrote to KOMBI many times, but the TCM_ codes would not stick. Was wondering why.

Just wanted to update everyone else with my experience. You do not need the head unit in the car to code out the SOS error. I wasn't using an NCS expert profile that had MAN file changes enabled.
