I know this is a long shot, but I have asked main dealers, specialist shops, and tuners about walnut blasting, but no one has even heard about it here in Athens, Greece.

I would highly appreciate if any Greeks/expats can share if they know of the procedure being done here.

Are you willing to try it yourself? I can help you through PM maybe...since you don't have harbor freight over there it might not work but I have an idea that might be easy for you that will be 90% as effective.

If the dealer doesn't have a clue, which is surprising because BMW has been walnut blasting since the early 80's (ETA engines) as far as I know, so yeah, searching on the forum for someone to perform the work in Greece is unlikely. It's a reasonable diy with a little investment, particularly if you already have a compressor. Plenty of information here.

Just thought of this as well...try looking for Audi shops too; it seems like most of their cars have had DI for a while now and require similar valve cleaning.
