Anyone here have an E92 and an interest in optimizing Logic7?
Hi all,
There's a thread going on in the Audio/Video section about optimizing the equalizer settings for Logic7. I've taken a stab at shaping the frequency response for an E90, but the same settings won't apply for an E92 because of differences in the cabin. Would anyone want to bring an E92 over by place in Needham for about an hour or so for me to do some acoustic measurements? By the way, here's what I've found to be the optimal settings for a non-iDrive E90 on the Logic7 "Music" setting. Caveat: You should always trust your ears first. 80 -6 200 -10 500 0 1000 5 2000 0 5000 -5 10000 -8 Bass 8 Treble 8 Fader -1 And here's what the response curve looks like. Purple is before, and green is after.

I have an E92 (coupe) w/ Idrive if thats what you are lookin for. I'm in Littleton with some time on my hands this weekend.
I had a coupe without Idrive last year and think that the L7 sounds much better in my 335XI coupe w/ Idrive than in the 328XI coupe wo/ Idrive... I'm an audiophile with formal education in sound recording and acoustics. |
