Question about Production #

Last night i got my production # and signed onto OC, says my status is 112. I called the 800 # to try and get a Production Week Number but it said no confirmed production date at this time. About how long does it take to get the Production Week Number?

I just placed an order for a '06 330 xi on Saturday. Dealer told me it would take about 7 weeks to get here. Any information would be appreciated. By the way here r the specs:

Jet Black
Aluminum Trim
Automatic
Black Leather
Sports Package
Premium Package
Comfort Access

If, after you call the 800 number and go through the voice prompt thing, and the voice says "no production date scheduled" you have the option to talk to someone - "customer relations" I believe is what you say.

A very nice person (who doesn't mind all the calls - I asked) can look up your production number and give you your production week.

My production number shows "on order" at OC, and "on order, no production date scheudled" at the voice prompt, but the person was able to tell me week 14 for my 325xiT that I ordered on Feb. 27.

And what do the weeks correspond to? i.e. week 14 is when?

Week of the year.

Week 14 is first full week in April (3 through 7). 800-man said if I'd call back 3 or 4 days before the 3rd, they should have an exact date for me.

Ah ok how long does it "normally" take to get to the states after it is producted? My dealer told me i would have it by the last week of April or 1st week of May at the latest!

This is horrible, it has only been 5 days and I'm already going crazy!

I think a 112 means production scheduled so you should get a week from someone.
It takes too long to get to the US - depending on where and luck 6 weeks is a good mid-guess.
