Thought a few of you on here may be interested in this.

A guy I know is raffling his M3 using the national lottery bonus ball. Its £155 a ball. Pick a number between 1-59 that hasn't already been taken, and once they're all gone, it'll be the next Saturdays draw. I think he's sold 15 so far.

The car is a 2004 E46 M3 in carbon black, 75k, FSH.

Hes not on any forums so I said il post it on a couple for him to spread the word. He's a genuine guy from Chelmsford.

This sort of thing didn't really take off last time on this forum.

However, might I suggest some pictures etc to try to sell the car a little more?

Perhaps even place in the For Sale section for more traffic!

Last time the car in question had been written off and this was never disclosed by the seller - quickest way to kill a sale right?

Just seen that the money needs to go to the guy before you get a number. I wouldn't pay as you can't guarantee you'd get it back if not enough people signed up, it's based on trust; hard to earn over the web.

As its not my car, I don't have any pictures. As you suggest, it may be a good idea to put it in the for sale section. If anyone wants pics send him an email.

Of course he's going to need the money up front. Otherwise if your number didn't win, you wouldn't pay.

It is hard to trust someone that you don't know and send them money. I can assure you though he's not out to rip people off.

Last time the guy asked people to put there names down and once he had the required number, they were required to pay. Only then did he draw the number.
