Nah, look at her elbow placement - it explains why she's smiling. She's thinking about her next move which is to bring her elbow right back into his sternum for all the stuff she's had to put up with!

Anybody would be smiling.

But on a more serious note, congrats.

You're wrong joe!

That face says "I know there are insane bitches out there that think they'll ever be as happy as I and I'm just gonna wait for the pic to be taken, shove my elbow to his ribs so they don't come after my man!

I'd guess she reads bp and uses us ladies here ad an inspiration...

The New Millennium definitely was a landmark for us in so many ways.
Del Frisco is where we were. Planning to try Whiskey Cake real soon. Heard great things. Might I suggest another regular and favorite of ours in the area: Artin's Grill.

Oh come on, a hot chick, elbow and a big anniversary pic? She has him by the balls, and for a good reason.

Sure, big M and I have a different style in cars but he's on a short leash! Look again and stop quoting my signature!

(you're epic too Joe)

Sand paper would probably do a better job (takes away the edges).

Just fucking rub it in man. Even I hate you now.

The F8x forum has one example of a lasting marriage and how it transforms' a person. I rarely read others but that and the ot makes one question if it's worth it.

I've been married for 8-12 years, and the past three have been rough. If we had had a prenup, we both would've walked away easily many times if not for the kids. We've held on because after all, we are friends too.

But when you think about it, it's always your own damn fault. And then you realize you're the one locking things up and making life difficult.

In our marriage, after all these years I know I'm not making a big deal about stuff that would matter to him. I've never worn a ring and I never had a female friend that he trusts too.

Marriage is hard work. And not at all fun always.

If we hit sixteen (or 14- 18) I'll make a thread too.

Lightbulb

You bring up and make some very valid points Lups... Looking back, there were "bookmarks in time" where we had some rough bumps (as do all marriages): I'd say maybe @ 4yrs, 10yrs and somewhere since then a few years back. Never talk of divorce, but times where a combination of in-laws or family, spending, and emotions (usually self-centered) have caused strain/stress. But in every instance, 3 things come to mind that remedy all issues, at least for us. I call them the "3 C's":

Communication
Compromise
Children

Even if there are no children involved, Communication and Compromise are a MUST!
Children are so special in that you realize that together, you created someone/something truly special that more often than not, was bore out of love. So naturally they remind you of the love/bond you two share.

I'll get back to this tomorrow, since I need my 1.5 hours of sleep right now, but fuck no, nobody gets to 16 or to about 10 without these.

I'd be on this but I'm dead now. Three one hour of sleep nights in a row means I need my beauty sleep
