Window issues

Hopefully this is an okay forum to post this in..not a great place to put this issue.

The issue I am having is, on occasion, my rear passenger window will not come up. I thought it could be a window regulator (had them go out before), but after letting the car sit for a while it came back up. :-/ I also noticed that when it is stuck in the down position, and I hit the "up" button, the window will come up about a centimeter then drop again. Almost like it doesn't have enough power to get it up. Could this be a motor going bad? Other ideas? I really don't want to get caught in a rainstorm with this!

No I have not. It almost acts like a motor issue. Could that be?

My window also gets stuck in the down position after replacing the regulator with a non-OEM version. I've since read a few reviews with the same issue so I'm fairly certain it's the regulator instead of the motor. If your regulator had been replaced by a shop, it's possible that they tried to save a few bucks (foolishly like me) by going non-OEM.

I've had two regulators replaced, but not on this window. Reason I though it was NOT a regulator is I thought when those went the window would be 100% inoperable.
