Have you tried swapping the working bulb to the other side and see if it works in the other housing?

First is to do process of elimination. Is it a connector, a ballast, or a bulb?
Mark the ballast and bulb that are not working with a piece of tape or something. Now take the working set from the drivers side and move it all to the passenger side. Does it work? If not, then the problem is with your car or the plug on the car. If it works, then the problem is with the new lights somehow. Now take the working bulb and match it with the ballast you marked as suspect. And do the same in the other direction. Basically, take the parts that work and identify exactly what isn't working. Car, ballast, or bulb. Then work with the vendor to get new part.

The ballast has nothing to do with the angel eyes only the bi-xenon if I am not mistaken.

I did tried to swap working side to non-working side, and I'm pretty sure that its not because of the angel eye bulb, also not because of the ballast. what would be other issues here?

For example, my replacement is not Lux. And in my replacement there is a connector between the ballast and the bulb and you can isolate and swap. Because he hasn't said what kind he has, we have to suggest things to try. Then he can tell us if it's possible or not.

You took the light and ballast that was working and you moved it to the side that was not working. And the side that was not working is still having a problem. As an additional verification, can you take ballast and bulb from the side that was not working and move it to the side that is working? This way we can double verify that the problem is not the ballast or the bulb, but the problem is in the car. Then then next thing I would do is put the original OEM bulb back in the side that is not working and see if that works. If it still doesn't work, then we need to check the plug, harness, wiring, etc. For me, when I looked at mine, the shielding on the wire was becoming cracked at the connector. Perhaps your wiring in the car on that side has become weak or frayed.

No, I don't. The halo ring is just a clear piece of plastic that channels the light.
From what I understand, opening the sealed part of our headlights is quite an undertaking. You have to heat it up with a hair drier and slowly separate it from the adhesive. When you're done you have to glue it back together. Awhile back I found some articles on here and some youtube videos and decided it wasn't for me.

If you have a LED angel eye bulb then potentially it may have failed, so try plugging in a stock H8 bulb to see if it works. That will determine if you need to just replace the angel eye bulb or not. |

put back the original h8 osram bulb, if the original h8 osram bulb works, then the issue is indeed the angel eye kit seems to be DOA if that is the case
