Traffic Program volume

How do you permanently set the volume on the traffic programs?

At the moment it comes on very loud which can catch you out. Obviously I can reduce the volume once it comes on but it goes back to loud on the next announcement.

Whereabouts? I have checked everywhere in idrive but cant find it.

Ive also done a quick google and it seems like a common fault on other models too.

If you turn the traffic volume down during an announcement it should default to that volume

Thats what I thought but it does not. Seems like a common fault in many BMW models.
