Staggered suspension on an e92 335xi..

My first post! I've done my best to find answers on the forums, but I haven't been able to find anything solid. I've done my research on suspension, and I know that if I'm going to upgrade I need to go straight to new coilovers. I'd like to test out the looks of staggered lowering, I.E. a 1.8" lowering in front, and a 1.2" lowering in rear. With xDrive, is this something I could test out the looks of when I upgrade, and keep if I like the stance? Would this make my handling go to shit? Would my AWD system loose its shit and blow a hole in my wallet? I'm quite new to the modding community in general, as I just bought my first BMW at age 20 (2009 335xi e92) I am very proud of my accomplishment, and want to give my new baby the best! (While still being able to afford keeping her on the road of course!)

Thank you in advance,
Jake
