Ultimate Service Questions
Hi, I just recently got my E92 and I realize that the Ultimate Service only covers every 15,000 miles. From what I have read from the forums, you should really take your car in for an oil change every 5,000 miles. I was just wondering if I can pay for service at the BMW dealership every 5,000 miles and still get the free service at 15,000 miles.
Has anyone done this? If so, how much will the 5,000 miles service cost and what does it include (ex: oil change, rotate tires, etc...) And if I got the service done at the BMW dealership at 5,000 miles, will it reset the mileage counter or service indicator that I'm suppose to get at 15,000 miles? |

Yes, you can pay for oil changes and still get the free one at 15,000. The oil change will cost in the range of $100-150, depending on your dealership. It includes changing the oil only, but check with your dealer. It won't reset the service indicator.

100-150 for an oil change, wow is that what people pay these days at dealerships. I still plan to do my own every 5000 miles, I'm sorry I just don't trust dealers.
