I'd like to bluetooth streaming and possibly enable album art, office apps on my 09 E92 with factory CIC.
I 09 N51 e92 with bluetooth(call only), satellite radio and usb/ipod from factory.

From what I have gathered, Tune2air bluetooth adapter will give me bluetooth streaming/call function and nothing else.
-About $90
-easiest, I already have 30 pin y cable.

I am trying to guage if combox retrofit is worth it. This is the information I gathered for Combox telematics retrofit.
If someone can answer the questions and correct me where I am wrong, that would be great.

-About $150-$200 for used combox and DIY harness
-coding ( I am willing to learn)
-will allow me to use standard lightning cable instead of the bulky 30 pin connector plus lightning to 30 pin adapter to charge.
-can stream from any other bluetooth device/phone when I have company.
-text message read (I can do it with "hey Siri" now).
-office for emails and such.
-connected drive/bmw apps. No idea what exactly it does.
-I dont have BMW assist. But will a retrofit give me an assist error although I dont have subscription?
-Is connected drive/BMW apps even possible without BMW assist subscription?
-Does it mess with the TPMS and engine oil readings?
-video playback on CIC screen via bluetooth or cable?
-FSC code cost?
-update CIC cost(I believe the software is still the original from 09, is an update required)?
-Do other modules in the car need update as well?
-reversible if I want to bring the car back to stock? I am sure if I use retrofit harness, physical reverse process is possible. I am more concerned about the coding reversal.

Currently in process of factory alarm and reverse camera retrofit, and would like to do PDC retrofit. Would a combox retrofit pose any issues with these? Shall I do the pdc and alarm retrofits first and then do the combox retrofit?
