17" ASA wheels and winter tires
Sold my 135 a couple months ago and I'm finally finding the time to give my parts a new home. Purchased these wheels for winter use so that I didn't ruin the 18s on my 135 M Sport. Already have the BMW center cap on them and they are ready to go. For some reason I would always get more compliments on these rather than the OEM 18 M Sport wheels. It always left me scratching my head but hey.... Tires are General Tire Altimax Arctics in size 205/50/17. They have about one more season left on them before they need to be changed out but the real gems are the wheels. They have a little bit of curb rash as you can see but they were winter tires so I'm pretty happy with them and I think you would be too. I'm willing to drive half way to anyone living a reasonable distance from me in Central CT. I'm also driving to DC next week so if anyone on the 95 corridor is interested I can meet you. Thanks! Nice catch and thanks! Yes you are correct they are 205/50/17...simple Typo and you are correct they do include TPMS. I completely forgot about that....damn I'm selling these crazy cheap then.....I could get that much just for the sensors.

Any chance you know what year the tpms sensors are? I might be available for a pickup this weekend if the price is right.

I'm afraid I don't. I bought them when I bought the wheels in 09 for the winter use so I'm guessing 2009? I've never had a problem with them....so much so that I've never seen them and I've never had a TPMS light lol.
As far as pickup I'm around Saturday and Sunday I'm heading to DC for work mid morning but I could meet you along the route if you are interested. |

Hey I'd be interested in picking up and would be coming from Rochester, NY. Could you verify the model of the wheels and the approximate tread depth of the tires?

Tires are on their last legs and can probably last one more season. I would think they could fit on a 335 as the 135 has almost all the same dimensions suspension and clearance wise.

I just looked again to be 100% sure and one of the tires is shot. Looks like the camber on the car had its way with the inside of the tire.
One is not great but good for another season. The other two are in good shape. Could probably make it a couple more seasons. I don't have a tire tread measuring tool but the tread is above the tread wear marker on 3/4. And high above it on the two that are in good shape. Hope that helps a little. Honestly, between the wheels and the tpms sensors I'm pretty sure $400 is a great deal. As far as meeting someone from northern nj that's not a problem at all! |
