First SES light today
Got my first SES light today unfortunately. Don't have an OBD II yet, so stopped by Autozone and had them read it. Looks like the P20EE or P2201 code. From doing a search seems like that's a NOx sensor that needs replacing in bank one. Has that been everyones experience? Anyone have any idea on cost to replace this?

Yeah, I've read through your thread a little bit. I'm hoping my problem is not the same. My car had the complete DEF tank replaced before I bought it, but it sat for a month or more waiting for the airbag recall. I am hoping its just a NOx sensor or a clogged urea injector. My question is it even worth getting fixed or should I just go ahead and do the deletes (and use the car for offroad or track only of course!)?

I believe for most of us here who have done the deletes, the car has become infinitely more reliable and we haven't looked back. My goal was long term reliability as I plan to drive this car into the ground and hopefully hit 500k on the way there. Constantly replacing emissions equipment and making walnut shell cleanings part of regular maintenance aren't part of those goals. That's some seriously expensive maintenance in the long haul and doing the deletes once more than offsets that given how long I want to keep this car.

No soot on the exhaust pipes and everything seems to be running fine. I was planning on having the transmission serviced and fuel filter replaced within the next week or two, so I guess I'll have them look at this issue as well....
