CCC Question

I've searched and can't find a definitive answer.

I have an 06 330i whose CCC has died (surprise).

When seeking a replacement can I use any version of the CCC? I have no problem with getting it coded and have a source for that but I have the version that has no buttons 1-6. Would one of those units with the buttons still work? Finding the version I have with no additional buttons etc. is proving difficult.

Thanks!

Yes, it would work... You just wouldn't be able to use ISTA/P to go any programming/coding of the unit and neither would your dealer.

ISTA/D for diagnostics would work just fine.
