Can I install the e90 LCI headlights on my 2006 e90?

I want these,

instead of my ugly 2006 ones.

If it does work,
how much would it cost and where I can find them?
Also, are they plug-and-play or do they need some sort of coding?

Thanks

Cost: A lot. price of the headlights alone is huge
Wiring work will definitely have to be done, as well as some serious coding.

if you run xenon, then they are plug-n-play as far as i know. Though, you may need some coding because of the LED turn signal. From the looks of the pics in your sig, you should be okay.

They cost around $700 for a pair, you can find them on Tischer or Ebay... they'll be about the same price no matter which vendor you choose. I would search the classifieds first and then branch out to find the best possible price to fit your budget.

$700 a pair??? No way, that's far too low. I think it's closer to $1700 a pair...

They will fit, the headlights in the E90/91 Pre-LCI and E90/E91 LCI may have changed stylistically, but the dimensions are exactly the same. It's more coming down to a budget thing...

Why not send your headlights off to either OSS or LightWerkz in NJ and have them perform miracles in it? Amber delete, LED rings, blackout interior, projector lens upgrade for a sharper cutoff...the possibilities are limited again by your budget, but this will be a better application of said budget.

I have a pair of LCI headlights, new for 1300$, they look very nice. I bought it for my E90 but now I have to spent money for other parts on my car, so I will not mount them on my car because I have factory bi-xenon .

This conversion can be done and I know for a fact because a friend of mine has done it. The only issue is an error code and hyper flash due to the led turn signals. That can be coded out though so don't worry. If you have the money get the lights and do it. You won't regret it. Sell your lights and put like 5 bills or so on it and your good.

Yea 700 is a very far stretch i just did this and its no plug in play you have to rewire the xenon's and the angle eyes as well as the high beams and shutter. Its no easy task but if you ask me its worth the 2 grand i spent. Looks hella good. You can find the lights alot cheaper on craigslist though got mine for 400 in perfect condition except a rouge ground. I sent them to lightwrekz to be worked on and it turned out perfect.

New here.

I'm glad someone pulled up this post... This thread was pretty much along the lines of what I'm trying to accomplish...

My car: 2007 BMW 335i sedan w/ factory Xenon headlamps.
I bought a pair of factory xenon headlamps from a 2009 BMW 335i sedan.

Not plug-n-play. pcamera: If you could shoot me a PM on what you needed to do to get them working, that would be great.
