Daytime running lights (which bulb is it?) 07 335i sedan

I want to change all the light in the car to LED lights.

I have been all over google reading different things everywhere. I found out that the fog lights H11 now for the daytime running lights is where I am confused. some sites are saying its H7 and other sites say its H8 which one is it?

Thanks!

Probably easiest to just pull the bulb and look at it. The designation is right on the bulb. I'm assuming you don't mean the angel eyes, since many vehicles use the angel eyes as DRL.

If you do have angel eyes then you'll need a specific E90 Pre Lci LED angel eye kit, it's not a generic bulb.

Pre-LCI uses the high beam for DRL, which is an H7 bulb.

Be aware that many LED bulbs are not designed to run at reduced power for DRL, so they probably won't work as DRL.

That would be correct. Probably best to go with a White Halogen at same wattage.

Here in EU the DRL bulb is H8 so maybe that explains why you've found both being suggested.

It's H8 on E92/E93 pre-LCI and E90/E91 LCI
