Anyone have experience from "turbo parts canada"?

Found an ad on kijiji that this company/guy can do n54 turbo rebuild/upgrade. There's only a Facebook page(just Google "turbo parts canada Facebook"). Company is base off ottawa. Would like to know if anyone have experience with their turbos. It would be nice to have a place that can do good rebuild on our turbos in canada.

Is it even worth rebuilding?

I think OEMs can be purchased new for a decent price. The labour cost is what drive the price.

I can't say for sure. But the ad I saw says he can make it like dinan spec. Which I think is slightly larger compressor wheel + rattle fix for about 1g/turbo. The exchange rate from US made things expensive now a days. Besides, I would rather spend money on and support a good canadian company

I might have a solution for you guys, I have 3 sets of wastegate parts I made from 310 stainless. I have a set on my car now, and got the chras from mellet in the uk. I think they were $300ish each cad.

I am also collecting cores now to start upgrading them to a stage 1.5, better than the stage 1 offerings, but nowhere near the big turbo players. I'm in the early stages of all this, but am thinking something similar to hexons rr500.

If i get enough interest, I can bang out another 10 sets of wastegate parts, should be around $250 canadian, but are of very high quality. I will post pics later if i remember.

Yes post pic!!

How's the mellet char? Any problem. My fd was thinking get those and just swap the housing over coz he doesn't have any rattle but turbo smoke and leak under high boost. But then his car is totalled now.

mellet chras are good so far. Ii believe them to be of high quality. I am sill researching what hexon used for the rr550's.

310 stainless steel. Best material available that my research led me too. Wasn't cheap.

I'm looking for a 135i to be the guinea pig for my attempt at hexon rr550.
