I have a Mazda 6 d Sport right now and it's been a real nightmare. I got a Friday afternoon, Christmas Eve lemon.

So I had a short list of;
Ford Mondeo
Skoda Octavia
Volvo V50
BMW 3 series

I guess you all know what I chose. The experience of test driving them was amazing. I'll post about that if anyone is interested.

Timster i am interested, and im sure others will be too, please post up your thoughts

Cor i couldnt agree more...i basically shamed the salesman in Sytners in Midlands(wont name garage).He was getting some serious ragging off me.I know i did my research on a E92 and i do agree you cant be a boffin of all BMW series but wow he was making a absolute cock of himself so in the end i went to a different garage.

Im sure as you guys already know it pays to do ya homework on the motor and not be listening to all the speel of dung flowing from the eager salesman.

I actually spent hours on here and BMWland before nailing the deal.SO if anyone is reading this.....ask away and ull learn far more than any brochure or test drive can tell you.Then go test drive and remember what many told u about getting the right car at the right price.

Cheers
Budge
