Radio Frozen on "Telephone Active"

My 2006 325xi radio (Professional radio, aka base, no iDrive) just displays the message "Telephone Active". As far as I am aware, I do not have any telephone related options and none of the steering wheel buttons seem to do anything. I can turn the radio on and off, but cannot switch to aux or radio bands. There is a slight hum in the speakers (Very small) when the radio is on so I know it is connected to the speakers.

What I have done:
-Pulled and checked every telephone and radio related fuse, they are all good
-Unplugged the battery and plugged it back in
-Taken the radio out and disassembled it, removing about 20 coins!

Do you guys have any suggestions? I saw a few other posts about this, but they seemed to end without a solution. Thanks in advance!

Check to see if you have a TCU

Check to see if you have a TCU
bypass it with a most jumper if that doesn't bring it
back its likely your radio or idrive.

I tried restarting my OnePlus 3, but did not change anything. Even tried using my old Samsung S3 with the same process, and nothing changed. I do not have bluetooth or any phone options, so not sure what I planned to accomplish trying it.

I appreciate the list of links, but I am not really sure what you are talking about. As far as stereo type, I am pretty sure I have the HiFi/Premium system, but I am unsure of how this applies to my situation.

I am not familiar with the TCU jumper you are referring to, I will do a little research, but tell me if it is a simple answer or direct me somewhere for info!

Edit: Just for clarification, I do not have iDrive.

are getting any type of sound from your car , such as door chimes, seat belt chime? If not you might have a broken component in between your fiber optic cable which wont let the the feed through

Most Bus jumper for the TCU , Radio

connected through it . Most jumper bypasses a device the two optical cables and in and out . The most bus can connect several devices Radio , Satellite and TCU and (l7 amp). If any one device fails it can make them all look bad.
