About a year and half ago I bought a weather alert radio. I set it to warn us only for tornado events, as everything else we pretty much know in advance. This evening for the first time it woke up and alerted us. We have a tornado warning in our county, although it's in the extreme NW of the county and not near us. Crazy weather for November. It's been close to or just over 80 for the past two days. Very odd for this time of year, although winter tornadoes are not unheard of.

Glad to know the radio actually works, though.

These storms are going to screw up my DirecTV for the start of the game, though.
