no, I don't think the PBX is worth it. I wouldn't use one if it were free..

Trust Hassmaschine! My car had 200K when I did the 3 stage swap. It is DEFINITELY a great decision...especially if you've had the car a while.

Find an intake for $200, swap it yourself(easy, but time consuming, 3-4 hours).

Have Hassmaschine hook you up with a 330I file & find an OFT, BDM or local guy with tuning equipment.

Sorry hassmaschine, would have to disagree on the PBX, with the 3 stage intake, your tune & a few other mods. Having the PBX install on top of all of it still adds an additional fun factor.

Switching between maps 4-6(tune off, throttle remap on) gives you something you can change easily if you get tired of the driving experience.

Could do the same thing by making the throttle open faster. No point really.

if your engine is in good shape, you can do it. dont waste your money on an intake and catback though, the stock exhaust piping and intake is good. i would reccomend a secondary cat delete and a new (axle back) muffler, along with stage 3 intake manifold and tune. spend the rest of your smartly saved money on maintanence and you will have the power you are looking for without overspending.
