Oversized rod bearings?

Hello,

I have 335 xi 2008 and had some issues with oil, that lead to issues with rod bearing shells first they started to knok. We replaced the rod bearings and the oil pump and started the car, at 3000-3500 rpm the engine blocked. The entire engine was disasembled and turn out the crankshaft needs to be polished. The problem is that I can't find any aftermarket oversized rod bearing shells available? I found main bearings but can't find rod bearings 0.25 oversized. Is there such thing or what can I do?

You'll probably need to source an oem crank that doesn't need to be machined and use oem sized bearings

When you spin a bearing, you can't just replace the bearing and away you go. The rod and crank need to be replaced or polished with oversized bearings.

Sounds about right,Arb in Houston Tx.does machining on these cranks with a much higher psi bearings, but,it's not an stock option. This includes a whole short block when said and done. Ecs has a reman crank and bearings for $1500. Not muck of an option for a single spun bearing.
