Fuel-IT LPFP Stage 2 - Questions
Hello Everyone,
I am currently looking into the opportunities of running the Fuel-IT Stage 2 LPFP. I do have a couple questions that I think collectively would be better answered. Q) How much does the LPFP Stage 2 alter MPG on both; Pump only and Pump / e85? Q) What would be a comfortable amount of e85 to run using the stage 2? Q) What is the max that could be ran (Without running into issues instantly) Q) What are your views on the upgrade?, Do you have this installed?, Rating of the product? Any advice or input? Any / All information shared in this topic is appreciated! Thanks all, Derek |

Q- the lpf is capable of being used in 100% e85 applications, it's the High pressure pump that generally tends to struggle. Q- max able to run without instantly having issues? That 100% depends on the overall health of your car. Q- I am a big fan of this upgrade, I'd consider it a "must" if you are even thinking about running any sort of ethanol blend. Fuel-it / Steve hands down turn out top quality, tested, proven products and back it with arguably the best customer service in the n54 industry. You are in good hands if you opt to go the FUEL-IT stage 2 bucket route. It's a plug and play application, and can be installed in your driveway. I'd personally give this product an easy 10/10. The only advice I'd give you is find a competent tuner that meets your goals, and make sure that the rest of your car is up to snuff and you should be making some good power in no time |

Q) How much does the LPFP Stage 2 alter MPG on both; Pump only and Pump / e85?
- Depends on the tune and not the pump. The Pump has a higher pumping capacity, so you can tune in more fuel, which will reduce mpg. On the oem tune, no difference Q) What would be a comfortable amount of e85 to run using the stage 2? - Depends on your car, location, and tons of other factors. Usually, for FBO cars, ~e60 maxes out the HPFP. This assumes a healthy HPFP. You can potentially run straight e85 if tuned correctly for it. Q) What is the max that could be ran (Without running into issues instantly) - See above Q) What are your views on the upgrade?, Do you have this installed?, Rating of the product? Any advice or input? - Do it if you ever want to run e85 |
