Question Amber LED (Located in corner of headlight)

Anyone know how to go about turning off the single amber LED located in the very corner of our (e92) headlight housing?
This amber light is always on while your headlights are switched on or if your parking lights are on.
I was told you need to cut a wire or disconnect a pin?

That little tiny led....I was told the same to just cut the wire....I might just try that and see if there is any errors but then again I just got my turn signals light deleted and it looks totally black in that area and the little led makes it kind of fill up that space

Garage List
1. look for the corner delete mod in the DIY section (involves cutting).
2. Get the car remotely programmed to euro spec (amber lights only come on when using turn signals). Contact member Patrys (sp?). He has a thread in the sponsors section. The only disadvantage is that you need to recode if you get a software update from the stealership.
3. Go for the OSS headlight mod (along with the LED angel eyes).

There is a local Lex99FRC that does coding....Come to the Ceasars bay meet this Thursday and you can have it done within 20 minutes...He did mine last thursday in the parking lot....Cost was minimal compared to the others who are doing coding these days!

1. I dont want to cut the wire if there is an alternative.
2. Got the coding done to remove the corner light.. But he was unable to code the Amber LED off (single amber LED bulb in the very corner of the headlight housing; different then the turn signal light)
3. At this point would rather spend that money on other mods.

Hmmm, there has to be a way to code the Amber LED to be disabled. Especially if the Euro-Spec e92 doesnt have it.
Can anyone abroad (euro-spec) confirm that the Amber LED in their car does not come on when the headlights or parking lights are switched on?

Nope can't do that led because it's not hooked up to any modules that's why when you cut the wires there is no light error codes

Are you going to cut your wire?
Or an expensive alternative is to go for the OSS angels. If im not mistaken the LED's are removed/disabled.

that's not true OSS disables that tiny LED internally to the headlight, no wires cut outside in the harness.

We can also offer the corner delete coding, M3 speedo, windows/mirrors up ect if you need it

Hey i am also very curious if you guys disable that led? But im going to have to say you guys also cant disable it since you are mentioning how oss disables it inside the headlight

I am pretty confident you cant disable it because its not something you can code since it doesnt throw errors when cut.

Maybe code the car to euro spec if in euro those leds arent on but i am not 100% sure if they are off on euros

So instead of cutting the wire you an just probably pull the pin out of the harness and tape it up
