Cannot get MS Office to work properly!!

Never had any problems like this before, but no matter what version (2010, 13 & 16) it will install fine & work fine at first, but then when I restart the computer, it will go through office setup every time no matter what.

I've tried several valid files from torrents as well as a legit Office '13 from work & it does the same bs every time.

Anyone have this issue before? How did you fix it?

Pay attention now, not every copy I tried was pirated.

Also, never had problems with pirated copies before.

Completely remove all versions of Office from your computer. Not just uninstall, but after uninstall remove all Office folders and registry settings. May have to download Microsoft's uninstall utility to completely remove. Do a fresh install.

I moved to Libre Office, a free open-source MS Office alternative. The files are 100% compatible as well. The only issue I have is that I cannot open my archived Outlook PST files within Libre Office, but I have a VM that has office installed for that if needed.

Delete your whole office files, folders, settings and clean the registry.
After that make an offline installation of the desired office version, that worx although some ppl state it dont.
After that you have to replace one or two certain *.dll files and when you then after reboot connect the www you should encounter no failures with you hijacked version.
But as recommended previously, OEM is the best and to close my 50ct here: No, I wouldnt provide the necessary files.

I didn't do anything on the net when I installed it the 99999 times it didn't work.

Which .dll files? You are capt vague.

Also, once again, I have tried an OEM version & had same results!!!

Also, check the startup applications to see if there's something weird going on at boot.

If that doesn't work; mount and roger.
