ok fixed injectors

Made my boost leak tester. took off intake pipe just blocked both sides put air in the one side i hear it leaking near the turbo side. Would that really give your car limp mode?

after i will try to check it the inter cooling piping to throtle body to see if there are any leaks

Don't know where else to look for boost leaks

Also, what was wrong with INPA? Giving more details in how you resolved your problems could help others.

I hate such posts....."Fixed!"....with no explanation of what was fixed, how it was fixed, etc. Complete nonsense. Sorry I had to vent because I come across so many of such posts.

Mr Specialist sir, I know you're really excited to have fixed your car problems, but please kindly take the time to post how you fixed the problem. It is very valuable information to help others in the future. You yourself came on here to ask for help. Please help others. Thank You!

You should start with the vacuum lines all along the top of the engine and near the OFH - they're typical culprits and often you can even see fraying. Just replace the lines you can see. 3.5mm hose at amazon is as cheap as the vacuum pump
What is the OFH? I'm having crazy issues with my car so this thread may help me resolve my problems though I'm N55.

Sorry to threadjack but I need help desperately. My car performs fine when it is idling you can rev it all the way up but as soon as you put it in gear and mash hard on the accelerator the check engine light comes on and it backfires getting little power.

I'm so frustrated but you guys are pointing out other things for me to check which I will do today but anything and everything to help will be appreciated.

I'm new to BMWs so I have so much to learn.

Thanks in advance. (my apologies about the threadjacking but I'm really desperate)

Sorry for spelling grammar. This night mare of a story still pisses me off still to this day. At times I had to walk away and threw so much shit

I had to fig this out myself no one knew how to fix I was screwed. I ask some of my bmw specialist they didn't know. The reason I user id specialist is for my college days playing counter strike. I am computer programmer.

After reading you can call me a hack. But I tried by best but I got my car running mint.

It took my one month to fix this working a full time job to

the bmw was a compounded problem. (Big money waster)

1) I replaced 2 injectors.
2) Bought injector seal tool to put new seals
3) had problems with the program.
4) Cable was bad had to but a new one.
5) Program still had problems paid 30 dollars to ******84 to load the program correctly
6) code the injectors.
7) Still in limp mode but misfires went away. Tried walnut blasting still limp mode

8)bought new parts (might as well did some maintenance too when I was in there)
2x oem turbos , vacuum lines, spark plugs, new 2x vannos, mmp inlet/outlet
oil catch can, All new seals for turbo and gaskets, new in/out oil lines , new in/out coolant lines, All rubber coolant rubber lines to (water pump, rad, waterlines, rob pcv kit, coil packs, exhaust gaskets, valve cover gasket, exhaust studs and bolt)

9)I was tapping the head for the rob pcv delete kit and drop a set screw in the head. Also snapped the pcv in the valve cover had to drill out nicely

10) bought a bmw timing tool kit. took cam gears and cams need to replace the cam bolts did find the set screws I must of blew them out of the head with air blower or dropped in oil pan. I didn't want to drop oil pan is fuck it. Just replaced oil. Hoped it came out. When I wanted to put back the cams I changed the cam ledgers for both cams

11) after I put it back together I found an oil leak on the oil housing and cooler changed the gaskets.

12) Put everything back. I was off 1 tooth so I had to retime it and but new cam bolts one time and new valve cover bolts.

12) Put everything back no codes. Did some pulls it pulls great no problems

13) start to put back everything back to normal when I went to go for a test ride no boost. Waste problems I thought the turbo were fucked.

14) Checked solenoids. Almost bought new solenoid but thank god I didn't. Wiring was good.

15) walked away kept resting the code it just kept coming back. So I pin out wiring to the car I had boost again.

16) Found out that my aqua mist was shutting down the solenoid because the plug unplugged from doing test runs up and down the street.

Done and done.

I have a hate and love relationship with the car. I have learned a lot about 335i.

Good luck. I don't think anyone had this many problems.

I had 240k km on my car. I just spend a total of 5k approx. This is getting everything at cost.

So I have to change my water pump so I just ran out of money. It should last a bit. We will see.

I also I just install a dp fix too. And just passed the e-testing.

This is my vent

I thought that the E46 forum was filled with kids posting on their smartphones, poor grammar and not rereading their posts but this thread is horrible. I may need to get ahead of the depreciation curve or find a forum where the racer boys haven't setup shop.
