E92 Light questions.
My Car: E92 2008....jet black/coral red.
Hi, sorry if these questions have been asked before. I have been searching this forum for over an hour, and i have not found any answers to my questions. Okay well here they are.... 1) http://www.bimmian.com/XEN/92/1 Which of those foglights should i buy? I want a really blue look to the lights. 2) For my headlights, do i buy these http://www.bimmian.com/HIU/92/1 (the light blue)....or http://www.bimmian.com/HIR/92/1 sorry i dont really understand how the lighting works. 3)This is a tough question, so i will give my best attempt of putting it into words. I want red angel eyes, however they are highly illegal. So i wanted to know if there is a way i could switch between the red angel eyes and the stock white ones while i am driving. I mean by the push of a button it would switch between the different colors. http://www.bimmian.com/XHU/92/1 Please feel free to ask questions. |

ok this is what your want...if you want blue, go with 8000k rating for your headlight bulb, make sure it says that...next, for your foglights, the best thing would be to buy a xenon kit to match exactly to your headlights, that would cost you about $250. Otherwise you have to settle with just a regular halogen bulb that has a blue coating. The one you have the link for there actually sucks. I bought that for my M3 a while back and it doesnt even match, and is DEFINATELY not that blue that you want, actually doesnt have any blue in it, just a dissapointing yellow color lol.
D1S is the bulb type for your headlights H8 is the bulb type for your fogs. The best bet is go with either GP Thunder OR theres one other brand thats also pretty popular that guys mention using on here. HID-Lights.com sells GP Thunder for about 15 bucks. They have 8500k which is pretty much white but not really blue. Many on this forum are pretty conservative so they dont really like blue lights so they might not be that much help. But search things like H8, GP Thunder, Foglights. Also, keep in mind that many of the bulbs you see in pictures of peoples angel eyes can be also used for your foglight because our cars use the same bulbs for the fog lights and angel eyes. hope this helps |

I think my thread should answer most of your questions, and I posted pics too.
