Driver headlight not working, help?
I'm not sure what is going on with this light right now, but here is what happened and what I've tried. This is my pre-lci 2009 e92 335
I had custom headlights done a few months ago (vinyl wrap inside and led halos). 3 weeks ago it rains like crazy and my driver's side lens gets condensation inside it and my headlight goes out. So I make the assumption that it didn't get sealed well, water got inside and blew the bulb. I had them dried, resealed and new bulbs put in and still not working. Next assumption was the ballast on that side was blown, bought a new ballast, still no light. Got the bright idea to plug the driver's side fixture into the passenger's side plug, everything works fine. So all of the bulbs work, all of the ballasts work. Checked all of the fuses inside the car and all were good. Now I'm guessing that means the issue is wiring? I checked the voltage on every pin of the connector at the light location and all pins were identical (passenger vs driver) except one. One was not getting power. So i checked power at the light switch inside the car and it was sending power. Does anyone know if there are any fuses, relays or whatever in this electrical cable run from light to switch? Thanks

All lighting is controlled by the FRM module. The light switch does not directly control or send power to the lights so I'm not sure what you were measuring. The switch merely tells the FRM what it needs to do.

Yes I was just testing voltage on the switch. I think we have concluded that I need a new frm module. So the question I have is can it be installed without coding and still work with errors on my dash? I know it needs to be coded in but I'm hoping it will at least work while I find someone to code it. I'm assuming this will require real coding and not just carly.
