New Battery 2008 335xi - Interstate MTP H7/94R
Hey guys,
I apologize if this issue has been covered before, but I'm stuck. I have a 2008 335xi. I purchased a new Interstate MTP H7/94R, which replaces the same model, which an indy installed 4 years ago. Since then, I have gotten INPA working in order to code injectors. So, I looked at the IBS section in INPA and learned that my first replacement batter was NEVER coded in and, to make matters worse, the car believes I've had a 90 Ah battery since the car was built 9 years ago. The MTP H7/94 I have sitting in my garage that interstate provided me under the warranty program is an 80 Ah battery. I plan to do the physical install tonight and "register" the battery through INPA as well. BUT, I can't see where/how to let the car know I actually have an 80 Ah battery... I really haven't used NSC expert, or any other programs and don't know where to turn. I thought about getting DIS or Carly just for this purpose, which is still cheaper than having to pay someone to change that setting. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

do a search here
there are some very large threads on coding a battery . They involve some of the other programs associated with Inpa not inpa itself. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=battery go directly to entry 36 or read the whole thread before trying it .
