N55 MHD Flash not supported on device

Hi all,

Just picked up an 11' 335xi and want the MHD flash. Tried to download on older htc and device was not supported. I have an iphone but my wife has an HTC 10. Can I download on my wife's phone flash and then disconnect the phone or does the phone always have to be connected to the car for MHD to work?

Doesnt need to be plugged in for it to work after installing and flashing the map.

A flash writes new files to the car, once its done, the phone doesn't need to be used, unless flashing a new map.
