Why don't you get the LUX 5.0? Those are for the lights for the "rings" that you see..

http://www.namotorsports.net/detail....t_cd/MDSLUX5.0

but as for the D1S headlight bulbs (you have Xenon HID, Correct?) , in your situation, I bought the 10,000k D1S bulbs.. for the fog lights, I went with the GP Thunder 8500k.. those seem pretty good from what a few people told me.. so it's probably going to be more "blue" than "white" for me.. but that's ok =) .. if you want, most people say that 6000k bulbs are the "optimal" level.. but probably like you know.. the lower you go in Kelvin, the brighter (and more yellow) it should go..

thanks, I think you are right.

first I want to get the fog lights and possibly drl's out of the way as they are easy..

The more I look, the more I think I'm going to get the 6000's for the fogs and drl's and then perhaps the lux 5.0's.

Is 6000k close to the factory HID headlights? ie will they match nicely?

On my last car, the 4350's were a perfect match (color wise) to the HID headlights.

I think it looks best to have everything (or everything that will be on together) matching

is the lux a difficult install?? I am not very mechanical in fact I couldn't even get to the drl bulbs lol..

I personally like the yellows. I put back yellow bulbs in my fogs and I get compliments on the lights all the time. Keep them!

I suggest upgrading the halos, headlights and change the turn signals.

thanks, I'm going to give it a couple of days with the yellows and see.
I don't think I'm going to upgrade the angel's as they are not even on all the time, and when they are on, they don't stand out becuase they get swallowed up in the headlights really imo.
To have them on in the E90 by themselves, you have to switch on the parking lights which I don't like to do and the amber corners stay on too. Just not worth it to me.
I would like to run the DRL's on all the time and replace that bulb if I can figure out how to get them out and which bulbs to throw in there, that will be enough for me as far as the lighting

I was going to throw the luminics 2500's in the DRL's too, just to see how they look but I haven't figured out yet how to get the bulbs out lol...

It's really pretty easy and from what I hear a helluva lot easier than pulling out the DRL's. I did my Lux 4.0's in about 1.5 hours and it was the first time I ever pulled any thing like that off the car. I didn't even take the tire off, I just jacked up the car enough to get the suspension to give me the space I needed and went from there. Taking the wheel off would make those changes (DRL's and Lux) so much easier (prolly 1/2 hour each). I had to use directions from the DIY's by MDS82 AND Calvino. Both of them show different pictures and it made the whole thing easier to do.

BTW, the lights do look great. I am debating the yellow 2500's or 6k whites. I like the yellow low angle light for foggy mornings and rainy nights (yes it rains here in the sunshine state though.) How does it light up the road?

I think the yellow fogs are more functional, that's why I switched out my 4350K mtecs to them.

really, thats interesting, I was starting to think that maybe they didn't look good lol.

as far as lighting up the road, it is kind of nice because right in front and to the front corners, at night anyways, it gives the road a nice yellow bright light and then you have the HID white going further up the road ( i adjusted my HIDs up a bit too).

I guess I will leave them....
I really wanted to get a different bulb in the DRL's and then leave them on during the day... Just seems like almost too much work and maybe not worth it, just keep them off...

I don't think I want to do the angel eyes because they are not on all the time. I'd rather put something nice in the drl bulb first because they will be on all the time and the angels are only on with the parking lights or full lights. when the full lights are on, they kind of disapear as the HID's headlights are pretty bright. If I had a coupe I would do them for sure.
just my take on it so far, thank you for your opinions though, I think I will leave the yellows in for now
