Is there any good links for the download of Rheingold in english? I've read its the best BMW diagnostic software or are there others that are simpler to use? I'm looking to diagnose and possibly synchronize my DME & CAS. Thanks.

3.53 is old...4.03.2x is current.

version from 4.0 doesn't support Exx anymore. 3.56 is the latest for E.

Is this true? I was going to update soon.

I know ISTA+ Rheingold isn't working for e series coding and programming (only for f series) but thought it was still good for diagnostics and service functions...

I installed rheingold-3-55-11. It connects to the car fine and can read and clear codes, but when I click on service functions tab its blank. I can't seem to access any sub functions within ecu's, only the very basic read and clear codes. Some say to unblock the archives before extracting the winrar, but I had no such option with my winrar archive.

So now I have found rheinghold-4-01-36. Was about to start downloading, but after reading in this thread that e90 series isn't supported anymore by latest rheinghold, I'm not sure anymore.

I'll download it tomorrow. To be honest, all of the download links say E and F series supported so I think it'll still work.

Latest ISTA D Rheingold has coding and programming functionality but this is only working with F series.

I have ISTA 4.01.22 and it works fine with my E70 and E60.....But only Diagnostic.For programming EXX ISTA-P is the way to go.
