Non-White Angel Eye Upgrade?

Hey everyone, one of my angel eyes on my '06 E90 just went out which got me thinking about upgrades and there are a lot of options out there to wade through. There are lots of threads recommending LED upgrades.

Does anybody have a recommendation for a brighter replacement bulb that isn't white? I might be in the minority but I actually like the yellow color. I do want to upgrade the brightness and dimming if possible though, and I'd rather not break the bank (I know this can be a $200+ job if I get carried away).

Hopefully someone out there has an idea!

Hey man...we may be in the minority, but I also prefer the yellow colour angel eyes. To me it looks more aggressive and with the majority of folks going for white bulbs, it's against the trend somewhat too. Also the colour stands out more against the white of the headlight. I loved the OEM colour bulbs, but one blew out and I ended up buying amber coloured LED replacements to stay with the theme. I payed £40 from eBay UK for these....they're pretty cool, fiery coloured and much deeper amber than OEM. But have the standard issue of them not lighting the outer ring as brightly as the inner ring, they are 40 watt equivalent. I'm a bit of a noob so not sure how to post pics unfortunately. But yes....yellow angel eye ftw!

The only colors that are recommended to use in the front of the car are white and amber. ANy other colors are not street legal so that is why they are not recommended.

There are some amber options out there from the forum vendors or other online sites, or something could always be custom made as well if you are interested.

You can consider a yellow/amber upgrade or there are full color changing LED options that are controlled via remote.

Any pictures or links to upgraded amber colored AE? Like the members above, I'd be interested in checking those out.

I must be missing it-I don't see any AE upgrades for my pre-LCI that maintain the amber-colored look. I don't want white, I want a deeper, brighter amber. If I AM missing it, please feel free to PM me with details.

We only have an Amber/Yellow specific for H8 applications.

For your specific vehicle we have RGB color options or white.

Do it. It's great and sets you slightly apart from the rest.
