Looking Around For A Reputable Indy Mechanic In The North Jersey Area (BLOOMFIELD). Radiotor Fan Started Spinning Like Crazy So I Assume Its The Electric Water Pump/thermostat Needs To Be Replaced. Can Anybody Recommend A Shop?

Normally when the water pump/thermostat is going or has failed completely you will get one of these two lights, yellow before red. The fan spinning at high speed is the car going into "max cool mode" basically a failsafe to protect the engine from overheating but without those lights its hard, without scanning the car for codes, to call it a bad water pump/thermostat. Im a bit far from jersey but i would be more than happy to check out the issue for you if you wanted to take a bit of a ride, just PM me.

ZNM Auto in Pompton Lakes. Went for the first time today. Great service, best pricing, nice guys who know their stuff (call and ask for Matt). Eurocar in Morristown is also a good choice, but having been to both I will now be a customer of ZNM.
