Racing Stripes!

Can anyone share their pics of a BMW with a racing stripe? I'm looking for ideas for an racing stripe over the top of my car, and/or on the front drivers fender. Thanks in advance!

have you ever considered the Motorsport flag over the front corner of the car a la the E36 M3 LTW? It's hard to go wrong with it in my opinion. What color is your 1er?

Silver. Really want a black stripe of some sort. The more I think about it, it'll have to be one or the other. I don't think my 135 would look good with a fender stripe and body stripe. I'm thinking a stripe like on the VW above, but on the driver side.

Why not just do it like the BMW tii Concept Coupe?

I think BMW used to offer a stripe kit for the E82, they had a cool striped/color contrast scheme for the tii concept and ended up putting a lot of the parts that were used for that skunkworks car out there for the public to buy. they may still offer it. any decent vinyl shop can cut you lengths of straight vinyl too, might be cheaper than the OEM stuff (if it is even available)

I dunno if you're into video games but Forza Horizon 3 has a 1M in it, you can mess around with the custom overlays in game to simulate the look. It's how I figured out my 2 Series would look goofy with an offset strip running down the car.

I have considered the BMW Performance Center stripe theme from when then ran e92 M3 cars in their fleet from 2008 - 2013. Some of the instructions there still lament its retirement.
