Iaknown's Intake Sound!!

I have been seeing a lot of video requests of Iaknown's intake to demonstrate the sound. Here is a quick video I made on my way home from work today. Listen carefully and you will hear a blow off valve type sound when I release the throttle.

Can't really make a comment on how much power this has added via my butt dyno. I had a really rough start this morning and the car shakes pretty bad under load and has a shake/misfire at idle. I don't have any SES lights so I am assuming the fuel in my tank started to gel up/freeze over night.

But his full exhaust and BPC's Stage 2+ tune made a massive difference on this car. Check out the videos on my YouTube channel if you want to hear his turbo back exhaust under cold start and warm start + pulling away. I definitely recommend hitting David up for his Exhaust, Downpipe, and Intake when you get your car tuned!

Sounds like a TDI when you chop the muffler off Great turbo whistle.

No problem! I'm going to get a GoPro video as soon as I figure out what's going on with my car. Everytime the cold weather hits it has a really rough idle and vibrates pretty bad under load. Any idea what could be the cause? I'm in the middle of downloading the Standard Tools software for the 3rd time. For some reason it keeps getting corrupted.

No, the vibrations are reduced when it warms up but still shakes the car as if I was driving over the run off strips on the road when I floor it. I can't get the Standard tools to download because the E89 daten has a file error during extraction. Extremely frustrating. I looked at my Harmonic Balancer, does not wobble, squeal, or show any signs of wear. I don't have any SES lights for Glow Plugs or Injectors. So the only thing I can think of is fuel gelling but that should not be an issue on a car with a fuel filter heater and glow plugs.

This is with the windows down. You can hear the turbo spool a little bit with the windows up, however it is not anymore pronounced now than when I just had David's turbo back exhaust. You do hear the surge from inside the cabin with the windows up, I just was not sure if the iPhone camera would be able to capture the noise effectively. The noise is there, but it is by no means annoying.

Dude love it-sounds great. once again, great job dave! I've been loving my BPC 2.5 tune so far. It actually might be a bit too aggressive I might get it dialed back just a bit hah!
