Tire Pressure?
A few days after picking up my 330i, I decided to check my tire pressure. I found that they had 45lbs all the way around. The manual indicates 32 front, 36 rear. The tires are the Bridgestone Potenzas that come with the sport package, but I felt I needed to bring the pressure down to the manual's recommendations. Any one know if the performance tires require a higher pressure than the manual recommendation?

Look at the sticker on the driver door for tire pressures for each tire size
The dealer probably didnt adjust the pressures the tires were set at for shipping Remember to check the manual how to reset you tire pressure monitor when you change the pressure |

For some reason, and I'm guessing this is beacuse of all of the high speed roadways that are in Germany, the tires are set up with a really high PSI from the factory. ![]() |

I figured it was a transport thing, having to do with flat spots, which is why I corrected the pressure. But then I got to thinking maybe there was something about the performance tires that required a higher pressure. Well a word to everyone before you prematurely wear out your tires, check the pressure after picking up from the dealer, and initialize the pressure monitor in the car's computer.
