Great BFYB and I like the matte clean finish this product leaves upon application.
I was surprised how supple the 'hard' dakota leather feels when treated |

I use duragloss leather cleaner
A lot of the meguiars stuff is pretty ordinary... If your seats are heavily contaminated the best thing to do is steam clean them. Basically you need a domestic steamer (they can be purchased for $50-100 or a decent used unit on gumtree like a vax) and you steam the seat then spray with leather cleaner and scrub using a soft bristled brush. The steaming action opens the pores of the leather, and also helps lift the grime. The scrubbing action agitates the solution and removes the gunk from the seat. I found on my fox red seats by using leather cleaner this wasn't enough i had to use steam to get them looking like new Let me know if you have any questions! |
