Interior Trim Help

Hi.

I am trying to take out all of the interior bits on my 06' 330i. I've gotten everything out except the main trim, which contains the airvents. I am able to get all of the clips undone except for the ones closest to the door. I've read all of the tutorials on how to get the trim out, but I am unable to do this. I took off the side panel and saw that there is a metal clip holding it in and I have no idea how to get it off. Any suggestions?

Should I pull with a lot of force? I tried pulling a bit earlier but I am afraid I might snap the trim or break something else.

I watched your video while doing everything else and they were able to come off, but no matter how hard I pull the trim with the start button, it wont come off. Same case with the drivers side air vent trim.

^^ Metal Clip

I remember disconnecting the cables near the start button was a bit tricky. You have to get your fingers in there. But the air vent on the driver side had no clips at all. That one is super easy.

Those trim pieces are the toughest. I actually used plastic wedges to pry them out. The first time they come out is always the hardest. Second time around is much easier.

Honestly, there is potential for it to break even doing the best you can do.
