1. What is the date of manufacture of your car?
2. What is the date of manufacture of the car the new seats came from?
3. What fault codes are stored?

On the very limited info you gave us in your opening post I would guess that your car is an LCI and you have swapped yours with earlier seats. They have different sensors, I think newer seats have 2 occupancy sensors and older ones 1.

Anyway, regardless of the above the fault will surely be the occupancy sensor. Maybe it's faulty in one of the new seats or maybe just has more or less sensors than the car expects. Fault codes would confirm this.

I suggest reading this thread...

Especially read the king of coding (808AWD325xi) posts on page 4...

my car is 2007 328i and the new seats are from an unknown, but nothing older than a 2006 because they are e90 seats, and they are in great condition otherwise. Of course every function works on passenger side, but heat, side bolsters, and lumbar not working on drivers side which I expected after doing searches before the install.
