FS: Dinan FMIC
I moved to a larger FMIC since adding hybrid turbos, so selling my Dinan High Performance Intercooler for BMW E92/E93 335is (#D330-0015) that has served me well. Assembly P/N D333-0005 appears to fit both N54/N55 depending on the bumper that you have (no active cruise control). Confirm fitment with Dinan before buying, otherwise, it's for sale as "335is" fitment because I can verify that The kit was ordered new directly from Dinan for my 335is (M-Tech bumper) and is approximately 2 years old. I've cleaned out the fins from bugs, pebbles, etc. the best that I could, straightened out the few fins that were bent and left it standing on it's side to get as much of any accumulated oil out from inside (hardly any), so it's ready for a new home. Because it has it's own shroud welded on, cutting the plastic shroud on the car is required. It uses the factory IC connectors/clips and mounts to the stock FMIC points. On that note, I was doing a lot of other work when I pulled this and the screws were scooped up and placed somewhere when cleaning up They should be around, but just realized they are not currently in the box (which is packed up and ready to ship). I will attempt to locate them, but as of right now, they are MIA. The factory screws should suffice if needed. $475 shipped in the lower 48. Locals (Austin) will have first priority, however, it's packed in the Dinan box as originally received and ready to ship at your expense. Photobucket resizes them down, so if you want full-res pics of the fins, PM me with an email address. About 20K miles, I don't remember the exact mileage when I installed it, but almost exactly 2 years with about 10K/yr on average. There was no warranty card or anything. As I understand their warranty, if it's dealer installed Dinan products and/or car is under warranty, Dinan will warranty any issues at their discretion through the dealer. Other than that (this case), it's 2 years from date of purchase, which was 10/16/2014, so it's just over. All told, it's a hunk of aluminum, not too much that could wrong with it short of a weld seam blowing out or a rock smashing through it, which I'm quite sure they wouldn't warranty anyway.

I can't say for sure, but I don't think so. All the cores look the same to me, but Dinan has different P/Ns for pre-LCI. Shroud shapes and inlets/outlets may be different.

I'm guessing this wont fit my LCI (2011) 335xi from what I've gathered? Dinan is rather hard to contact, at least in my experiences.

Yes, Dinan has specific P/Ns depending on the year/model/bumper option. AFAIK, all cores are the same, the difference is the shroud. If you're on the lookout for one, look up the P/N for your exact car/bumper on their site keep an eye out for that one... |
