Opinion: What do you think of this wheel on this car?

Hello

Looking for opinions -

I have a black E92 and am looking for some new wheels to replace the nice but plain stock 189s. Looking at some VMR options.

This wheel:

On this car:

Are there any other mesh designs that you think you would work better? Or is 5 spoke the way to go...

Thanks!

Good choice, my E92 looks like the one above minus the mud flaps. I'm leaning toward BMW wheels like Style 313, 424 or 225's.

Thumbs up We are car twins

Damn looking good! Yeah I really do like the 313's as well, they seem to be very pricey though.

Sounds like you prefer the 5 spoke designs over the mesh / csl style?

By the way, another nice wheel design on the E92 is the 437m IMO.

The 437's are the last wheel on my list. I had Style 197's on my E46 convertible, I loved the look but I'm not sure if the E92 is what I want for mine.

I think it will look good, tons of BMW's run VMR's including myself. I bet a quick search of e92 with the vmr style wheel will pull up a ton of pics for reference.

I like the look of the 437s only in all silver the silver/black two tone set look like ricer.
If you choose them, do a repaint on calipers very open style.
I use two sets of 189s winter/summer tires, I am happy with the look and performance of that wheel.
If I could swap out for free would put summers on the VMRs, but not willing to pay for it.
