Don't think there's a thread on this but just saw this movie last night and I will say that it's one of my favorites thus far.
It came out in 2016 so it's no longer in theatres. If you haven't done so, I'd highly recommend it. Good storyline, acting, twists, action, etc. just overall really good! |

It was better than expected for me as well.
Though i had to watch it with a CPA and hear about all the inaccuracies regarding the audit. She's like, now you know how i feel when you point out all the gun and car inaccuracies in movies.

I guess if you give Ben Asslick a role he's suited for (Autism), or Flaming Shit-heel husband (Gone Girl), he does it VERY well. I was really surprised how good this movie was and how much I enjoyed it.

I recall there being another thread but I didn't see the movie yet when I saw that thread.
I saw it over the holidays and agree it was good. As a CPA it seemed like I was compelled to watch it, but I had low expectations. It ended up being much better than I expected. I also watched "In the Heart of the Sea" over the holidays (on HBO or Showtime can't remember) at my wife's insistence and also found that better than expected but not nearly as good as The Accountant.
