X5d or trailer hitch
Thinking about getting a used X5d and making it illiterate, or just getting a trailer/execuhitch for the current car. Strange comparison as the X5d is much more than $1300 for the hitch, but a 3rd vehicle will be nice and also added comfort when I don't care to drive the sedan.
What would you choose and why? Economically speaking the hitch is the much better choice.

What are you needing to pull? Execuhitch used to be about $700. Did they go up nearly double?
If light duty pull needed, my uhaul hitch was $199 delivered. It's class 2. It is specifically made for the 335d, too. |

They're still $700, but the trailer would be about that as well. Mainly just bulky items that won't fit in my car. It's not too often that I need it, but the option would be nice.
