give me your thoughts on "Thiner" 335i to M3 conversion..
I never liked the goofy wheel well on the M3s, they always seemed too weird though i did enjoy everything else about the M3.. I was also never into the new 335i sedan's front ends either because of the bland lines it had but I did like a lot of the rest of the car. so, as such, I thought to mix my two dislikes into a unique and cooler car by modding it with bits from the upcoming m3 and coupe.. here it is, and I'm wondering if you think this look is going in a good direction or not?
It's a 335i with the coupe hood, headlights, an M-tech front, the 335i m3 rear, M3 fenders, and Hartge Skirts. i have not decided on exhaust yet, but it will either be Hartge, Alpina or AC Shnitzer like here: http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/5...nov2006no3.jpg http://bmwm5.com/articles/Geneva2005/Alpina-4.jpg http://www.carsandtuning.org/wp-cont...chnitzer_6.jpg I was thinking that this would be the part which really completed everything so feel free to advise. I was leaning towards the shnitzer because of how wild it looks, but I don't want to seem like I over thought it and i'm too much of a car nut, so we'll see about that. Options. Beige leather on SMG, with modded in shadowline, 199 style wheels, nothing else. Oppinions? Last edited by Legion5; 01-28-2008 at 12:51 AM.. |

I did, do you have more.. essentially more normal angles or everyday pictures? it is hard to tell what something looks like in real life with artsy images.

Anything can be done if have the time and are willing to spend the $$$.
But personally...I would go for the fender flares.

eventually will be avail @ dealer. I don't know whether or not they are available at the moment since the M3 is not officially released in NA. You might be able to order through someone that imports parts from Germany...maybe call MWDesign and see if they can get them now.
Otherwise, they will likley be easily available in the spring. But..you will have to buy the fenders and most likely the bumpers...as the fender flaring extends from the fender onto both the front AND rear bumper. So, to make the lines flow correctly, and the fitment of the fenders to match up correctly...you need to get the "wider" bumpers that account for the flaring.

The M3 fenders doesnt fit properly to your car (same as M3 hood).
...but you can use the M-pack ones.
