really? Those tires must be cheap....my 16" Toyo T1Rs my cost were about $420. Lowest price you can get them for...straight from the distributor when I used to work for a tire shop.

What if it happened in the middle of nowhere? I feel much more sure that Ill find a place that has a 19" random tire in stock than an 18"rft.

Not knocking the insurance bit, I think thats great. I just dont believe in paying 400+ for a tire.

well most of the time im close to manhattan and there's always a dealership close enough. I'm sure within 100 miles of the life of the tire, you can find a dealership unless you're in the middle of alabama or somewhere else where u wont find a dealership for a while
