DFW's best roads
Where do you think some of the best roads to go really driving on are around here?

Gotta go out atleast 2-3 hrs from here. I love to drive and so far best roads and scenery is around the hill country west of Austin. Anything closer not much to look at and no really good twisties to make it fun either.

Yeah, I know this. I love the Austin area. I've lived here for a long time, just haven't had a car worthy of good roads in quite some time. I know all the obvious choices (DNT, PGBT, 121, etc....too many troopers usually ) but was hoping that there were some local hidden gems around. Off of 380 somewhere I've heard. There's gotta be some good country roads around still.....right? Hope to meet some of you guys at the cars and coffee on the 5th!
