Dynamic Performance Control (FDB) Coding on 335xi
Hello,
I'm sure many of you have seen this article on coding out some of the "nannies" for track use http://www.onelapx1.com/blog/how-to-...w-actually-fun What parameter intrigues me is the Dynamic Performance Control or FDB parameter for the N54 xDrive. I have an '07 335xi (04/2007 build) and I would really like to know if this option can be coded on in this car. I've searched a lot and the few mentions of it that I can find are from people with the slightly newer xDrive badged cars and not the xi's. Everything I read says the xDrive is simply a marketing name change but can anyone confirm if this parameter also exists on the xi or if it's part of a software update on the xDrives? Thanks! Phil |

I thought I'd post an answer to my own question in case someone else stumbles on this and wants to know.
I spent some time over the weekend getting my coding setup working and confirmed it by coding on angel eyes for drl's. I then looked through my original FSW PSW file and indeed the FDB parameter was present and coded "aktiv" by default. All of the other "nannies" in the link I posted were also present in my pre-LCI 335xi so it looks like the software is truly identical between the xi and xDrive models. |
